The PBM group started in 1997 with Tough Seal (UK). Tough seal became the distributor for Euro chem, UK, to sell car care products in India. After the proven strength of Tough Seal, Euro Chem appointed Tough Seal to market their products in the Asia Pacific region in 1998.
In 2000, Tough Seal took over Euro Chemicals as the exclusive manufacturer of Auto chemicals in India, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Pakistan. The new PTFE Nano Technology has been formulated with its own technology to sell all over the world through the brand name, Tough Seal.
In 2003, Tough Seal changed to Pacefic Blues Marketing Pvt. Ltd.
In 2005, Pacefic Blues Marketing Pvt. Ltd. marketed all the products exclusively for the Asia Pacific region and incorporated the company, Speciality Industries Ltd, UK to formulate all car care products through Euro Chem. It made its own branded lubricants with nano technology of PTFE and Boron Nitrate & MOS2. The nano technology impressed and made a remarkable name in the overseas market; though the giants had already made their names in the same industry for quite a long time.
M/s. Acheson Industries of the Netherlands applauded the success of Pacefic Blues Marketing Pvt. Ltd and appointed them to promote their wide range products in India.
In 2008, PBMPL was incorporated. A 50:50 equity share was distributed between both the directors and they formed a relationship with the world steel giant, M/s. Arcellor Mittal to promote their coal tar by-products in Asia. PBMPL purchased the raw material through its sister concern, PBM Lubricant Pvt. Ltd and sold as well in dehydrated form too.
The PBM Group was founded by Mr. & Mrs. Johnson and is one among the largest private enterprises, with businesses in the coal tar and car care product group's annual revenues in excess of US$ 30 Million.
The Group's activities span trading and production of crude coal tar, car care accessories, Speciality coatings, logistics, etc.
PBM enjoys global leadership in its businesses. It is one of the largest coal tar producers in India.
